Comments/questions by audience recorded by Jim B:
• Fuses in power supply lines
• Fan inside ball when power supplies on to help with thermal management. Buy fans that indicate whether they're spinning -or-- Build bigger heat sink and bypass the fan idea.
• Indicator lights for trouble-shooting
• Change connectors to FCR in drawings
• What is input voltage and power supply output voltage? Should you measure output voltage and current?
• Paul's comment on adding nuisance trips
• Hall sensor on brushless high pressure pump motor
• Pressure sensor, can they go to 6000psi?
• Paul, we have the information, but should continue think about failure modes and how will the system protect itself. Like tune motors to torque limit just over getting the job done, in order to tell if job isn't finished.
• Paul mentioned current draw from MARS. Would 20m away cause too much of current drop for Vicor boards to start complaining? Thought is that no, will probably not be a problem.
• Are there cables and connectors to connect to MARS?
